Child Safety Standards

MoveM8 is a social fitness and activity discovery platform operated by Vanta Flows. This page sets out the standards and practices we follow to keep children safe on our platform and to prevent child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE).
MoveM8 is intended for adult users aged 18 and over. We maintain a zero-tolerance policy toward any content or behaviour that endangers minors.
1. Age Requirement
MoveM8 is restricted to users aged 18 and older. Users must confirm their age during signup. We reserve the right to suspend or remove any account we reasonably believe belongs to a minor, and to verify age where necessary.
2. Prohibited Content and Behaviour
The following are strictly prohibited on MoveM8:
- Content that sexually exploits, abuses, or endangers children in any way
- Child sexual abuse material (CSAM), including AI-generated or computer-altered depictions
- Content that grooms, solicits, or facilitates predatory behaviour toward minors
- Sharing of contact information or arranging meetings with known minors through our platform
- Any content that sexualises minors, including fictional, cartoon, or animated depictions
- Links, references, or signalling to external platforms hosting such content
Violations of this policy result in permanent account termination and, where required by law, reports to relevant authorities and law enforcement agencies.
3. How We Prevent, Detect and Respond
Prevention
- Age gating at signup with self-declaration
- Clear community guidelines and Terms of Service prohibiting CSAE
- Event and profile content reviewed against our safety standards
- Users can block, restrict, or unfollow other users at any time
Detection and Reporting
- Every user profile has an in-app Report option accessible from the profile menu
- Every event has an in-app Report option accessible from the event menu
- Reports are reviewed by our safety team within 24 hours
- Users can submit safety concerns directly to info@vantaflows.com
Response
- Accounts found in violation are permanently banned without warning
- Associated content and events are removed immediately
- Where required by law, we report violations to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) and relevant South African authorities
- We preserve relevant data for law enforcement investigations
- We cooperate fully with law enforcement agencies upon lawful request
4. Compliance
MoveM8 is committed to complying with all relevant laws and industry standards regarding child safety, including:
- The Children's Act 38 of 2005 (South Africa)
- The Films and Publications Act 65 of 1996, as amended
- The Protection of Personal Information Act 4 of 2013 (POPIA)
- Google Play's Child Safety Standards policy
- International CSAE prevention best practices
5. Reporting a Concern
If you encounter content, behaviour, or an account on MoveM8 that you believe endangers a child or involves child sexual abuse or exploitation, please take the following actions:
- Report it immediately using the in-app Report feature on the profile or event
- Email our safety team at info@vantaflows.com with the subject line "Child Safety Concern"
- In emergencies, contact local authorities or the South African Police Service on 10111
- The SAPS Crime Stop line on 08600 10111 accepts anonymous tip-offs
We treat all reports with urgency and confidentiality. Retaliation against users who report in good faith is itself a violation of our Terms of Service.
